Computer Vision is a field of Artificial Intelligence that helps computers to interpret and understand the visual world from digital images and videos.
Computer Vision (CV)
Computer vision, being a sub-domain of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, enable the systems and computers to derive meaningful information from digital images, videos and other visual inputs. The scientific discipline of computer vision is concerned with the theory behind artificial systems that extract information from images. The image data can take many forms, such as video sequences, views from multiple cameras, multi-dimensional data from a 3D scanner, 3D point clouds from LiDaR sensors, or medical scanning devices.
